End of Summer.... Beginning of 3rd Grade....

Well, by far this has been one of the best summers Devin has had emotionally, physically, and health wise... for that I am beyond Thankful!!!

Devin started 3rd grade yesterday... AMAZING!!! Although behind where he should actually be.... the journey to actually accomplish what he has, is non short of a miracle!!!  He has been blessed with a GREAT group of DEVOTED people to get him where he is today!!!

Tonight, I can't really talk about what we've accomplished and how our summer was... without having a very heavy heart.... 

I ask you to pray.... 

     for another transplant child who earned her wings at the end of the August.  Ashley Kate put up an unbelievable fight and her family did an wonderful job giving her the quality of life she so deserved!!! I can't help but think of, and pray for Trish, Dave, Blake, & Allie.... May their faith and strength get them through these very difficult days ahead!!! 

for a co-workers niece, Hannah... who is suffering from a brain tumor.  Hannah is home in the comfort of her own bed with her dog... surrounded by family & friends.... making memories...  making every minute count at the age of 14!! Truly heart breaking!!!  Sue Levy Funck (Hannah's mom) is am amazing mom!!  Her strength is to be admired during this VERY difficult time!  

for a friend of a friend... whose 4 year old son is struggle with a brain tumor... complications from the tumor, and the surgery he needed!!  Please pray for Matthew and his mom. who is due with her second child in a few short weeks... 

ALL so heart breaking!!! SO tonight I ask for PRAYERS for each of these families who so desperately need them!!!
