SUMMER...

Our favorite time of the year!!!

I can't believe it's August already!!! time is flying!!!!!

Sooo what has Devin been up to...

• We didn't end the school year on a great note.. which therefore lead us to do a complete evaluation academic and psychological!  8 weeks of testing and the report should be complete next week!  Although I was EXTREMELY concerned, the preliminary report wasn't all that bad and the evaluator is confident that with some changes and a little extra support he will eventually catch up!! She said considering what he has been through in life, he's not that bad off!!  Hoping the Board of Education will meet their requests.. time will tell!!! 

• We went on a cruise to Bermuda on NCL's Breakaway!! Amazing trip... Devin had a BLAST!!!!!! probably one of the most positive vacation experiences he's had in a long time!! My oldest two had a BLAST too... AT HOME!!!! need I say more!! They choose not to come and I fell for it! NEVER again!!!!  

• Devin's been going to summer camp.. which he absolutely LOVES!!! It ends Friday so it's going to be a VERY INTERESTING couple of weeks... He loves go, go, going!!!  Hopefully I'll do some day things with him :)

• The end of August will bring us to our yearly trip to Disney... As you've heard me say in the past..  NO place on earth that makes families with special needs children feel more welcome!!

• The dog.. Miss Kai has been a wonderful experience... Devin is sooooo in LOVE!!!!  More on that in a few weeks... don't wanna jinks anything!!!
