Friday Update...

Long Day... Started out with 6 sticks for labs.. NEVER good!!! Then on to a PICC line that looked like it had been through the war.. NEVER good!!! Devin was screaming while it was being flushed.. NEVER a good sign!! So after much back and forth over things, the PICC line had to be pulled :( another anxiety producing procedure. Not to mention having a sedated procedure for NOTHING!!! With all that said.. We had a really good day! No belly pain x 2 days.. No diarrhea x 2 days and eating like a horse!!!! They new issue is before discharge they'd like to see him poop and so far we got NOTHING!! I know it's left the doctor shaking her head.. how can you go from pooping 1200- 1600 cc of LIQUID diarrhea for days to not pooping for two days. I don't know, all I can say is welcome to the world of bowel transplant!!!! Devin is beyond ready to go home. He's been isolated to his room and he's feeling better... so it's getting UGLY!!!
