A Little Boys Amazing Journey & A families balance between... QUALITY & QUANTITY...
So TRUE....
Don't think of organ donation as giving up part of yourself to keep a total stranger alive. It's really a total stranger giving up almost all of themselves to keep part of you alive. ~Author Unknown

Complete recovery has been made by Dev... and we have OFFICIALLY reached the goal we set out to reach 8 LONG!! years ago... WHOLE FREE!! free of all hardware in his body!! This is a HUGE accomplishment! but through blood, sweat, tears, determination, persistence, and perseverance... through the obstacles we made it!!!
When it comes to Dev their are two things that warm my heart.... watching him sit down and enjoy food!! & boy does HE LOVES IT!!! he eats just about everything.. he does not like sweets, candy, or cake.. I guess he never had it so he never acquired a taste for it. He skipped junk and moved to the real deal!!!
The second thing that warms my heart is watching him skip off to school every morning! He LOVES it and is thriving... everything about it is positive!! AMAZING!!!
As for my mom... recovery is slow and steady. She had her elbow replaced last Wednesday and will have her first follow-up with the doctor tomorrow. I would imagine therapy will start this week. Praying for a speedy recovery!! It is NOT easy for a strong independent woman to become so dependent... she is truly struggling with it all!!
