A Little Boys Amazing Journey & A families balance between... QUALITY & QUANTITY...
So TRUE....
Don't think of organ donation as giving up part of yourself to keep a total stranger alive. It's really a total stranger giving up almost all of themselves to keep part of you alive. ~Author Unknown

We are HoMe.... we came home late Wednesday night.. The week in review was crazy!!! We just pulled up to the hospital when my older kids had called to say my mom fell and was hurt... Hurt she is!! Her elbow is a mess! They had to reduce it (put it back in place) the other night and now she is waiting to have surgery on the 30th.. Today, we will spend time trying to gather information about elbow replacements.. how long they last, pro's and cons... NOT that I think we have much of a say!! If it can't be fixed this is our only option.. She is in ALOT of pain and VERY uncomfortable!!
As for Devin... as ALWAYS a trooper!! Surgery was slightly more involved then we realized or then we were prepared for.. But he did what he had to do and he is on the road to recovery.. Every day he is making steady progress and he is following all the directions the doctor gave him :) He will have the stitches out in 3 weeks, which Derrick will do so we don't have to go back to DC.. Yes, the surgeon gave him the go ahead to do it himself LOL!!!!
Thanks for all your prayers and support!!!
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
