A Little Boys Amazing Journey & A families balance between... QUALITY & QUANTITY...
So TRUE....
Don't think of organ donation as giving up part of yourself to keep a total stranger alive. It's really a total stranger giving up almost all of themselves to keep part of you alive. ~Author Unknown

This boy LOVES sports... Baseball, Football, Basketball, Hockey... you name it he LOVES it.. He knows the players, the teams, the trades...
Thrilled with his jersey!! |
Christmas was wonderful here in our house...
Christmas eve Caitlin and Devin baked chocolate chips together for Santa.. Then we ALL headed outside to put reindeer food out.. I LOVED watching Ray n Cait embrace Dev's excitement!!
Christmas morning was filled with energy.. It took Devin maybe 5 minutes to open all his presents and begin using them!! Then Christmas night we had a special visitor at my moms house... "santa"!! It was great!! It added lots of laughs and great memories to a wonderful day.. To see the excitement in Devins eyes was great!! Ray and Cait were great sports... sitting on his lap and playing right along with the power of BELIEVING!!!
Devin has been battling a cold, which keeps me on the edge of my seat. But we did not take any chances so we started antibiotics immediately and things turned around quickly... Also we had to stop the medication for his Liver because it was causing him to have urinary retention.. We will monitor his labs a little closer now and make sure at the first sign of anything we are on top of it. For now we are HAPPY, HEALTHY, & ENJOYING!!!!
