A Little Boys Amazing Journey & A families balance between... QUALITY & QUANTITY...
So TRUE....
Don't think of organ donation as giving up part of yourself to keep a total stranger alive. It's really a total stranger giving up almost all of themselves to keep part of you alive. ~Author Unknown

Sad Day...
Today we lost probably one of Devin's BIGGEST prayer warriors... 2 years and 11 months ago (almost to the day) of Devin's transplant one of our family members was diagnosed with cancer. She presented with "flu like symptoms" and was very quickly diagnosed. Her cancer at that point had already metastasized to other places therefore making treatment very difficult and prognosis very poor... But Kathy NEVER gave up!! Their was NOT a day that you saw her that she wasn't smiling... ALWAYS wanting to know how you were... ALWAYS lending advice on how to make your life a little better... NEVER did she act as though she had a care in the world!! NEVER...
When asked, "Kathy how are you feeling" Her answer was ALWAYS great! I am blessed with one more day!!! In November while I sat in the surgical waiting room waiting for Devin to come out of surgery I received a phone call and the frail voice said "Hi Colleen, I don't wanna bother you but I want you to know I am with you.. and I am praying for Devin" To tell you I was touched beyond words was to say the least!! Kathy is an amazing person who truly LIVED and appreciated everyday..
Kathy has left a wonderful, devoted, kind, caring, faithful husband. Warren your care and love for Kathy go beyond words. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Kathy also left behind two beautiful daughters. Kristin & Katie, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you too...
Rest in peace Kathy... I know we now have an angel shinning down on us!!!
