A Little Boys Amazing Journey & A families balance between... QUALITY & QUANTITY...
So TRUE....
Don't think of organ donation as giving up part of yourself to keep a total stranger alive. It's really a total stranger giving up almost all of themselves to keep part of you alive. ~Author Unknown

Can't Believe...
January is half over. I can't believe it!... time is flying with NO major events to report.. ;) Things are relatively q*i*t around here... We will be heading to DC the week of the 30th for a colonoscopy & endoscopy. It was suppose to be done in mid February but we are having some BIZARRE issues for a bowel transplant patient.... CONSTIPATION!!! Devin eats EVERYTHING!!!! and when I say EVERYTHING... I mean everything!!! 3 slices of pizza, 15-20 dumplings at a time, 4 waffles before school, eggs and bacon on a bagel every day after school, hot chocolate, latte drinks, mashed sweet potatoes with heavy cream, butter, and brown sugar... and the list could go on and on!!! So, being that his ((3)) year scope is in February we are moving it up 2 weeks..... The transplant team has assured me that this is probably just his new normal. They claim a sign of rejection is always diarrhea (NOT that diarrhea means you have rejection)... but constipation is not a sign nor is it a common issue!!! I am praying it means we got a REALLY awesome bowel that is functioning to the best of it's ability... I can hope can't I!!!
Thanks for your continued support and prayers!!!!
