Numbers Improving!!

Devin's Liver number have improved today.  Hopefully by next week we will return to his normal.  We have started him on a new med for ADHD which I am hoping helps!!  We have one good day and .... bad!!  I am so frustrated!! I feel like his medical issues have just about leveled off.  He is as close to being "a normal little boy" as he has EVER been and now emotionally he is struggling.  I can assure you all, that if and when I get a handle on the emotional issues  his health starts to act up I WILL WITHOUT A DOUBT be in a psychiatric center!!!

This all couldn't have come at a worse time... we are in the middle of trying to figure out the right placement for him academically in September.  Their is so much to take into consideration, so much I have never had to think about.  For Devin it's not just about the academics his health plays such a HUGE role in it all... Do I just plan for today or do I plan for the very real "what ifs"...  He without a doubt needs a small class, he needs supportive services, he needs a place that respects his health!, understands how fragile it is, he needs people that understand before he put his two little feet on the floor in the morning he has more on his plate then they do... BUT MOST OF ALL he needs someone that holds that all in their heart yet...  PUSHES him to reach his potential!!!
