A New Day..
Antibiotics made a HUGE difference... We went to the ER Saturday with fever, general weakness, sleepiness, and looking funky!! By Sunday morning... 3 doses of IV antibiotics later... Devin was back!!! bossy, complaining, (((EATING))), and looking to go home... Today when he was jumping on the hospital bed we knew we had worn out our welcome... So, HOME WE ARE!!!!
We will continue oral antibiotics for 4 days... and at some point this week re-address immune suppression...
Thanks for the prayers and continued support... As the end of August is upon us and September rolls in people say "It's The Best Time of Year".... For us it is by far the hardest time of the year!! I dread fall and winter coming... I dread the worry... the stress... the illness... never knowing!!! I have to try so hard not to think about this... I have to try to live & enjoy!!! I have to try to embrace the good days & weather the bad!!

SO happy to hear Devin is feeling better!! Hospital bed jumping is AWESOME!!!!!! Will definitely keep you guys in our prayers regarding the fall and winter seasons.
Happy 18th Mo. Anniversary Devin....you have come a long way....and we SO look forward to watching you grow! You are one AMAZING little man!
