A Little Boys Amazing Journey & A families balance between... QUALITY & QUANTITY...
So TRUE....
Don't think of organ donation as giving up part of yourself to keep a total stranger alive. It's really a total stranger giving up almost all of themselves to keep part of you alive. ~Author Unknown

A Bump In The Road!!!
10/8/2008
Devin's been having belly pain, an increase in diarrhea, GT site leaking, and on Friday vomiting. Vomiting for Devin is never a good sign... so off to the doctor I went. We decided to do some routine labs and a blood culture.
Last night we recieved a call that Devin's line is growing yeast (which mean he has fungus in his blood). This is not good! Thank God we've caught it early. Unfortunately Devin will need his central line removed tomorrow. This is a huge hurdle, being that this is truly Devin's life line. Today we are working with our local GI Dr, Infectious Disease Dr, and the transplant center to come up with the best plan of care.
