We Are HOME...

This by ALL means was the colonoscopy prep from hell!!!! The final concoction... 8 Ducolax pills, 1 Ducolax suppository, 3 bottles of Mag Citrate, 4 caps of Miralax, 2 Adult Enema's.... all within a 32 hour time frame... plus close to 4 liters of IV fluids... End result "he's semi cleaned out"

(( 2 )) colonoscopies & (( 1 )) endoscopy within 24 hours!!! VERY anxiety producing for him... BUT in return we got some GREAT news... The scope looks BEAUTIFUL.. no evidence of any issues,  to the naked eye (biopsies will give the final answer, Monday)... His esophagus looks 100% improved...   ALL music to my ears!!!!

A BIG HUGE THANK YOU to.... the sedation nurses who advocated for a bright and early scope,  Dr. N (from PICU) who agreed to come in extra early to sedate him, Dr. K for postponing rounds to do his scope, and for the nurses who made sure he had his pancakes waiting when he woke up...  800 and something of Propofol and he opened his eyes and had his pancakes waiting!!!  ( he hasn't eaten since 5pm Tuesday)...

We arrived home safe... 2 bathroom stops!  and of course 2 nathan's hot dogs... CAN YOU SAY GUTS OF STEEL!!!!  He's counting the minutes until dinner is ready...  grandma is making him roast beef with home made mac n cheese!!!
