Today is Devin's 4 year transplant anniversary... and for those that know the journey of
Bowel Transplant 4 years is a milestone to celebrate!!!
This journey has been LONG and VERY eventful!! When we started this journey it was ALL about QUALITY of life... and Devin has been blessed to have so many people help him achieve this EVERYDAY!!! We have an amazing group of doctors, nurses, nutritionists, teachers, paras, and therapists... who work tirelessly everyday to assure Devin's health and well-being... and for that I am greatful beyond words!!!!
To my family who support Devin through his ups and downs... and encourage him through his obstacles... Thank You!!!
Last but by far not least... Raymond & Caitlin... They have been AMAZING through this journey!! NEVER once complaining about the struggles we faced as a family during rough times... They have loved Devin unconditionally and rallied along side of him through some rough scary moments!
Thank you ALL for your continued support, prayers, and encouragement over the last 8 years!!!
So today we celebrate the gift of life Devin was given 4 years ago... His life is fragile and this gift has given him great opportunities to live a normal life under not so normal circumstances...
