| and Devin is LIVING proof!!!! Super excited 48 hrs until the Sharing Network Race/Walk to save life's!!! It's a GREAT day! One that I guarantee will touch your life forever! It is simply amazing to watch three groups of people come together UNITED as ONE... those who gave during the HARDEST time of their life, those who RECEIVED the GIFT OF LIFE, and those who are waiting!! This year the mom and dad of a patient that Derrick and I were fortunate enough to take care of, before he was transferred to a unit for a heart transplant will be joining us. Unfortunately Ryan is working. Ryan's family has done great things to spread the word and educate people!!! Can't wait to see them!!! & We will also get to see another family form SI who donated their 16 year old sons organs after a tragic accident. & Derrick will get to see a young girl he took care of last spring who received a heart transplant within days of becoming sick!!! We are SUPER excited about seeing some of our old nurses who LOVED Devin and made this journey possible!!

I wished we lived close enough to go! I think a drive from illinois to new Jersey may be a bit much though. ;)
