It's The Little Things...

It's the little things that most people take for granted that absolutely make my day!!!!!!

• Listening to Devin read... although it may not be perfect!! I LOVE IT!!!!  He has come so far!!
• Listening to Devin and Derrick study science... LOVE IT!!! He may not have PERFECT marks but he knows soooo much!! and is soooo eager to learn it!
• Doing spelling all week, and then seeing him get a 5/5 on Friday... It makes him glow!!  

Although Devin does struggle.... he has come sooo far!!! and I am one proud mama!!! 

Well today the icing was put on our cake.... drum roll please!!!

DEVIN IS STUDENT OF THE MONTH!!

He is beyond happy!  He has announced to everybody he has come in contact with!  

Through a life of adversity he has prevailed!!!!!

and witnessing this makes the day to day grind of health issues worth fighting!

A BIG HUGE!!! Thank you to his teacher, para, and team of teachers who have helped him achieve something he wanted so badly.... To go to school and be "NORMAL"

So looks like we have celebrating to do... I guess for the next month!! LOL ;)
