Bizarre....

This week I took the plunge... I started a diet... after multiple (failed) attempts at Weight Watchers.  I did some research and decided to go with Jenny Craig.  I wasn't telling anyone about this because then EVERYONE becomes the diet expert and the diet police...Unfortunately my first mistake was taking Devin with me.   He has so freely told everybody... "my mom had to go to a diet place because she needs to lose weight".   It has taken the most bizarre and yet interesting turn...  Devin LOVES!!!! the food.. So, here I am struggling to lose a little weight, while he is struggling to put on...   Giving him these meals might be costly but it is serving as a GREAT way to supplement his calories on top of a regular diet.. Funny how things work at certain times in life...  Today for lunch he had a broccoli and cheese baked potato and he all but licked the plate clean!!  I am sure a big part of it is the individual size containers it comes in... either way I'll take it!

Surgery is scheduled for Thursday morning... I am VERY apprehensive over it...
Caitlin's leaving on a 10 vacation with a friend... I am VERY apprehensive over this too...
