I Have To Laugh...

How do you put a child who feels fine... on a CLEAR LIQUID diet??  It was interesting yesterday..  At 5:00 he asked very nicely if he could go to grandma's... off he went.  He came home shortly after going to tell me he had --- half an egg roll, 3 spring rolls, a container of egg drop soup, a bag of noodles with duck sauce, & a glass of whole milk!!  "then I had water because I told grandma I was on clear liquids"  GREAT!!!  I went out for the evening and he had chicken wings with his daddy!!!  BUT "daddy said I couldn't have milk because it will bother my stomach"  

  ALL I can do is LAUGH!!!

Labs don't look bad..  ;)  as a matter of fact I was pleasantly surprised!!!  His bicarb needs to be replaced.. but nothing a little Baking Soda won't fix.  Over the course of the next couple of days all the viral studies should come back.  SSSHHH... I DON'T even wanna say it but, he hasn't p--ped today!!!
Could we really get off this easy???
