A Little Boys Amazing Journey & A families balance between... QUALITY & QUANTITY...
So TRUE....
Don't think of organ donation as giving up part of yourself to keep a total stranger alive. It's really a total stranger giving up almost all of themselves to keep part of you alive. ~Author Unknown

Good Visit...
Good doctors visit today... No weight gain but no weight loss... I have no idea how he did not gain weight but as long as he didn't lose, I'll take it!!!! I WANT his metabolism!!! :)
Raymond & Caitlin have been sick... flu like symptoms.. just feeling miserable!! Raymond is better but Caitlin still isn't feeling great!! :( Needless to say lysol, clorox, and purell have become a staple of every inch of our house!! Now, I sit tight and wait for the next few days to see if Devin will get it too! :( Please lord spare him!!!
On the educational front... I have reach out to a lot of nice, knowledgable people who have been kind enough to share their stories and point me in the right direction. It is so difficult!! for a person who is trained to be an educator to understand all Devin's medical issues. He can learn!!! but his fragile health needs to be accommodated for... That's it plain and simple!!!
The other day while speaking to a friend in a public place a person turned and said... "why do you feel your child deserves more consideration then any other child" Thank the good lord I was able to turn and very nicely say... "the day your child would like to trade places with mine, then we can talk"
We have had a few good positive days in a row!! :) and for that I am Thankful!!!

There must be so many days when you wish you had a very large sock in your pocket to put into the mouths of tremendously insensitive, uneducated people! Congrats for keeping your cool and giving this person the answer they deserved.
You must wish on days like that, that you had a giant sock in your pocket to put into the mouths of people who are insensitive, uneducated, and clearly unrestrained. It seems that you handled this so very well - and so composed! Cheers
