Went To The Doctor Today...

We went to our local GI doctor today... whom I absolutely LOVE!!! Unfortunately Devin has lost 3.3 pounds in 1 month!  NOT good... Devin continues to have diarrhea on half strength formula! NOT good... and last but by far NOT least.. Devin has sores in his throat! It does not look like thrush (but I sure hope it is)   At this time their are two things that can be causing this... one being the virus he tested positive for at the beginning of the week.... or two being graft vs host disease!!! This has me VERY nervous and concerned because graft vs host has been a concern on many different occasions in the last couple of months... IS THEIR SOMETHING LURKING are we missing something.... I have a hundred questions and  I am impatiently waiting for the transplant doctor to call me back to see what we do next...

I know the virus that we are fighting now falls into the "bad" category for these bowel transplant kids...

Will life ever get easy... simple... boring....
