A Little Boys Amazing Journey & A families balance between... QUALITY & QUANTITY...
So TRUE....
Don't think of organ donation as giving up part of yourself to keep a total stranger alive. It's really a total stranger giving up almost all of themselves to keep part of you alive. ~Author Unknown

TRYING...
I am trying so hard today to keep in mind that... their are MANY people who are having a harder time then us!! and MANY transplant kids who are struggling so hard just trying to survive.. My heart breaks for their families! It is such a hard spot to be in! as a PICU nurse it scares me to death! I know the reality!! as a transplant mom it shatters my heart!!!
Please Pray today for two very special little girls and their families... they are struggling through extremely hard times... One waiting to find out if she can be re-transplanted and One literally fighting for her life... It is so hard... so scary!!!
Today Devin is sick again!! He has 101.7 fever and is just NOT right. He is NOT tolerating his feeds which happens to be a first for us... We have all had a GI bug over the last week so I am hoping and praying that it goes as quick as it came...
Spoke to the doctor.. for now we will stay home... give him fluids through his feeding tube.. if he tolerates it and things improve GREAT! if NOT we will take him to the ER...
Thanks AGAIN for you continued prayers and support!!!
PLEASE say a special little pray that Caitlin is spared this bug.. at least until Friday! She is Mary in the Christmas pageant tomorrow!!
