Moms NOT Happy... Part 2


We did hear back... but not fully satisfied with the response and the explanation... Derrick is waiting for
Dr. K to call.... We do not mean to be difficult by any means... but this is EXTREMELY important... decisions need to be well thought out... and we need to have a very clear understanding...  These drugs are keeping Devin ALIVE!!!

If we truly can't use this drug..... then I NEED TO KNOW... I want statistics... I wanna know what the "probable" road ahead looks like...  We are 18 months post transplant and down one anti-rejection drug... To my understanding their are only 2 that work well with bowel transplant... What happens if the one we have left becomes a problem!!!   I know they are NOT God, but they know what these kids go through... they have a good handle on what works and what clearly doesn't work....  &  I need to know.....  We MIGHT just be spending his 7th birthday in DISNEY!!!

Oh my gosh!!!!! I would be doing the same thing Colleen! Praying you have a good convo with the docs - one that y'all can feel at peace with.
