So TRUE....

Don't think of organ donation as giving up part of yourself to keep a total stranger alive. It's really a total stranger giving up almost all of themselves to keep part of you alive. ~Author Unknown

HAPPY EASTER......

Happy Easter to all!!! Devin was very excited this morning... He loved his Easter bag... He was very cute... jumping all over the house... the Easter bunny replaced chocolate with Chex Mix (a new favorite)... a PSP game, hockey.. which was a huge hit... and some Yankee stuff... All in all we had a very nice morning..... Today, we are spending a nice quiet day at home avoiding ***GERMS***....

I hope every one has a WONDERFUL Easter!!! We as a family are truly blessed this Easter... Thank you all for you love, support, prayers, and kind words of encouragement..

**********HAPPY EASTER**********

Biopsy # 9....

Is completely normal!!! Thank God! We are settling into home life... I am trying to prepare for Easter... Grocery shop, clean the house, organize things LOL, sort of pick up where I left off seven weeks ago... Devin is doing great!! He is eagerly awaiting the Easter Bunny... He thinks it's like Santa... boy is he in for a surprise... He keeps asking "is the Easter Bunny watching!" **Monday starts Devin BOOT CAMP!!! Boy oh boy, do we have a lot of re-training to do... He is soooo spoiled!! and fresh!!!... It's time for a reality check.... and some normal discipline... First on the agenda is to isolate him from all teenagers!!! They think he is so funny and encourage him to say and do bad things!!! I have my work cut out for me!!! Just one more thing to keep me busy!!! LOL

HOME!!!!!!!

We are home... getting settled... Oh boy do we have a lot to settle!!! Well the great news is Devin's Biopsy looked wonderful... The exciting news is we do not have to be back in DC until the 20th.... Lets keep our fingers crossed and the prayers coming that life stays QUIET!!! We will see his GI Dr.. here in New Jersey next week.. We are so glad to be home... Don't get me wrong we had an AMAZING experience in Georgetown... but it's great to be home in your own house..

Oh... Our Bags Are Packed....

And we don't want to stay.... lets hope that Biopsy # 9 looks okay.... Devin is so excited tonight... He can't wait to get home to Raymond, Caitlin, Buster, and all his cousins.... He really wants to go back to school... Little does he realize that can't happen this year :( Well, let hope we get a clean bill of health tomorrow and off we will go :)!!
