A Good Doctors Visit...

Our trip to DC went very smoothly! We learned a few good things... Devins name comes up frequently when organs are offered to Georgetown..
Dr. Fishbein is waiting for "The Perfect" match, being that his health is stable right now. This can all change if his health changes, if his Liver numbers get worse, or if a few months pass and we do not get the the offer of a perfect match.. Lets ALL keep our fingers crossed that the perfect match comes along, so we will "hopefully" have less complications afterwards. They seemed pretty confident that it will happen in the next few months.. This was a wake up call... deadline for Christmas lists are November 2nd! LOL
Nighline joined us at or doctors visit today and all went smoothly, as always.
Monday, Devin will go for a CAT scan of his chest, abdomen, and pelvis. He will also have an ECHO of his heart and an ultrasound of his Kidneys, hopefully Monday or Tuesday. We are doing this just to make sure their are no fungal balls anywhere. Fungal problems after transplant will not be good.. They feel it is highly unlikely that he'll have fungis anywhere else, considering that his CBC (blood count) is normal and through it all we've had no fever..
