Devin's In The Hospital...

Well, it was to good to be true... a PIV that lasted 3 days. Today he became cranky and sleepy. He kept telling us his arm hurt, but it looked okay.. An hour later when I checked on it, it was swollen and had a little burn mark.. His PIV was out. Off to the hospital we went. Multiple attempts were made for an IV and finally they got one. Tomorrow Devin will go to interventional radiology to have an IV placed and god willing Thursday have his central line replaced. In the mean time, hopefully his cold and ear infection will get better.
