Well another year... I can't believe it. As we reflect on "2008" it was by far Devin's healthiest year. I know that sounds crazy... he's waiting for a transplant. But honestly it was... their were far more ups then downs. He accomplished so many mile stones... riding a bike, swimming by himself, playing coach pitch baseball, finally getting to play the position of catcher, he was finally tall enough to go on rides, writing his name, starting school, and the list goes on. He had an amazing summer filled with fun... He had a great 5th birthday... and we got to appreciate the true "magic" of Christmas... "2008" has given us great memories that we will cherish forever....

Happy New Year.... May "2009" be filled with health and happiness!!! Thank You.... my family, my friends, and complete strangers... who have supported us through the hard times and the ups and downs.. Your prayers and kind words mean the world to us.

Amazing community of kids...... as many of you know Devin has a campaign committee actively fundraising for him... The kids on Staten Island have raised approximately $10,000.00... The baseball tournament in October started it off and the kindness and generosity has continued... Dress down days, bracelet sales, bake sales, tee shirt sales, pajama days, Christmas caroling, and raffling an I-pod touch. The kids have been creative and enthusiastic. To the principals, faculty, and staff who supported it, Thank You!! To the parents who helped the efforts and supported the creativity of the kids we can not Thank You!!! enough.
