August... Oh What a Month

Devin's accomplishments for the month....  he is completely potty trained.  This was a huge achievement due to his short gut and chronic diarrhea.  His most amazing accomplishment is... Devin has started to eat orally!!!  He is showing an interest in food which is great! He is still working hard with the swallowing but he is doing it, it just takes time.. 

Devin's health has been good! We are having some issues with his central line clotting but thankfully we have been successful in getting it to clear.  He will be going for a chest x-ray this week to make sure his growth spurt is not contributing to this issue.  As for our transplant status we are still waiting.   It has allowed Devin to have a great summer and grow.
